With some of the most outstanding scenery on offer we love to visit the Dales for weekends of rambling in stunning and peaceful surroundings. Both the Northern and Southern Dales have a different feel to them and we’d recommend exploring both on your visit to the area.
The Northern Dales gives you that real ‘middle of nowhere’ feeling with wild heather moorland and breathtakingly beautiful valleys cutting through the landscape. While the Southern Dales still has the wild, incredible landscapes it is a little less remote with more market towns to visit if you want to discover some local artists in a gallery or gather some provisions to eat by the fire later from the local food market and artisan bakers.
