The sitting room is cosy and inviting, with comfortable seating gathered around a wood-burning stove – the perfect place to retreat after a day outdoors. Windows frame the views, bringing the outside in and filling the space with natural light.

There’s a calm, uncluttered feel throughout, with soft furnishings and earthy tones creating a restful atmosphere. Whether you’re curled up with a book or enjoying a quiet evening together, it’s a space designed for slowing down.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen is well-equipped and thoughtfully laid out, offering everything you need for relaxed self-catering. There’s a dining table perfectly positioned for long, leisurely meals, and easy access to the outdoor space, ensuring dining can effortlessly spill outside on warmer days.

The master bedroom on the first floor is bright and cosy, with a beautiful double four-poster bed sitting at the centre. The en suite bathroom provides a toilet, large walk in shower and basin.

Bedroom two has two single wrought iron beds, with dual-aspect windows framing the all-important views. The en suite bathroom comprises walk in shower, basin and toilet.

Terrace & Gardens

The real highlight here is the setting. With the River Wharfe just beyond, the outdoor space is perfect for sitting quietly and taking it all in from the stone-flagged terrace or beautiful maintained garden.

There’s space to relax, enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink, and simply watch the landscape change with the light. It’s a wonderfully tranquil spot, where nature takes centre stage.

Wharfe View Cottage welcomes dogs.

  • Two dogs are welcome
  • Dogs are not allowed upstairs.
  • Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
  • Dogs must be kept under control at all times and away from livestock on the Estate
  • Muddy/wet dogs must be cleaned off before entering the cottage, there is a hosepipe set up for this
  • Dogs must not be left alone in the property unless they are crated
  • Dog toileting must take place away from the cottage and any mess cleaned up.
  • There may be a charge if additional cleaning is required.
