Wharfe View Cottage

The kitchen is well-equipped and thoughtfully laid out, offering everything you need for relaxed self-catering. There’s a dining table perfectly positioned for long, leisurely meals, and easy access to the outdoor space, ensuring dining can effortlessly spill outside on warmer days.

The bedrooms are peaceful and beautifully presented, each designed with comfort in mind.

Soft linens, calming colours and gentle countryside views create restful spaces for a good night’s sleep. The rooms feel simple yet considered – somewhere to truly unwind after a day in the fresh air.

The downstairs double boasts an iron bed and dressing table area and enjoys panoramic views across the Wharfe Valley and beyond. The next door spacious bathroom offers toilet, wash basin, and a large stand-alone shower.

The master bedroom on the first floor is bright and cosy, with a beautiful double four-poster bed sitting at the centre. The en suite bathroom provides a toilet, large walk in shower and basin.

Bedroom two has two single wrought iron beds, with dual-aspect windows framing the all-important views. The en suite bathroom comprises walk in shower, basin and toilet.

The real highlight here is the setting. With the River Wharfe just beyond, the outdoor space is perfect for sitting quietly and taking it all in from the stone-flagged terrace or beautiful maintained garden.

There’s space to relax, enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink, and simply watch the landscape change with the light. It’s a wonderfully tranquil spot, where nature takes centre stage.

Plenty of parking is available to the rear of the cottage for up to four vehicles.

Wharfe View Cottage is a charming retreat set within the breathtaking Bolton Abbey Estate, with uninterrupted views across the River Wharfe and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales landscape. The Estate includes a village store and post office, tea shops, and the highly regarded Michelin Star Devonshire Arms Brasserie and Bar. There’s a steam railway too, imagine viewing the stunning scenery from the train and guests will receive complimentary spa access to The Devonshire Spa on the Estate, what a treat! While nearby villages offer welcoming pubs, cafes and local shops, Skipton, Ilkley and Harrogate are all close by while the wider Dales provide endless opportunities for walking, cycling and discovering hidden corners of this beautiful region.

• Two dogs are welcome
• Dogs are not allowed upstairs.
• Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.
• Dogs must be kept under control at all times and away from livestock on the Estate
• Muddy/wet dogs must be cleaned off before entering the cottage, there is a hosepipe set up for this
• Dogs must not be left alone in the property unless they are crated
• Dog toileting must take place away from the cottage and any mess cleaned up.
• There may be a charge if additional cleaning is required.
