The Great Yorkshire Show July 2026

2026 will welcome the 167^th instalment of the Great Yorkshire Show to the showground in Harrogate, North Yorkshire from Tuesday the 14^th of July until Friday the 17^th of July. Spread across 250 acres, visitors can expect to find the best of British food, farming, and agriculture with new additions to be announced in the coming weeks. The Food Hall will be home to a selection of local and region cuisine and beverages from celebrated producers with a dedicated Cheese and Dairy Show. The 2026 edition of the GYS has the privilege of hosting two prestigious national livestock shows for Zwartbles sheep and Charolais cattle. This year will also see the introduction of the brand-new, hydrogen-powered “Agri-Innovation Village” which will, alongside the machinery demonstration ring, present the latest innovations.

At the 2026 GYS, visitors will be greeted with daily performances from Bolddog FMX motorbike stunt team – managed by one of Europe’s top freestyle motorcross riders, Dan Whitby. This will take place in the Main Ring where visitors can marvel at tricks performed 35ft in the air. The event will also host various livestock competitions including the prestigious Cock O’The North Show Jumping on Thursday. There will also be two fashion shows a day showcasing leading Yorkshire and UK clothing and footwear brands. Exciting celebrity names have been announced in this year’s line-up, including TV stars, who will take to the Ariat Stage for daily chat shows and meet and greets. The GYS social media presence will be led by popular influencers including Yorkshire Youtubers and podcasters who will document the excitement as it happens.
