In August every year Yorkshire plays host to the biggest mountain biking event in the UK. With one event based just near the village of Reeth in the Swaledale area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and it’s sister event starting in the Lord Stones Country Park on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. The main event is the Ard Rock Enduro competition and various challenge events based around it. Even if you’re not competing in the competition or challenges it’s also a festival packed full of fun events for all the family, with exhibitions by the best bike brands in the business, demos, kids’ zone, epic food and drink to accompany the live music happening all weekend.

Ard Rock Enduro Festival in Yorkshire
The Ard Rock Enduro uses exclusive routes and one-off trails made for the event and it’s only by taking part in the main compeition and challenges that you’ll get to experience these epic, unique trails. The exhibition area is open Friday through to Sunday so if you are bringing along friends and family who aren’t riding there is plenty to entertain them! You’ve also got the rest of the Dales and the Moors (depending which event you’re attending) to explore while you’re here!
